Obituary for Ronald Hamby Ronald Terry Hamby, age 68, of Lenoir, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at his residence on Sunday, July 15, 2018. He was born December 4, 1949, son of the late Calvin Lee Hamby and Coleen Hilton Hamby. He was a steel erector and retired from Calloway Erection Co
Mr. Hamby was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Fred, Howard, Dennis and Lawrence Hamby and one sister, Louise Terrell. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years, Margaret McNeely Hamby of the home, two daughters, Shanda Renee Hamby Boyles (Jonathan) of Hickory and Naomi Seagle (Scott) of Hudson.
Also surviving are two step daughters, Belinda Shuffler (Dale) of Morganton, Nena Davis of Icard, grandchildren, Corbin Boyles, Avery Boyles, Elin Boyles, Isabella Boyles, Hudson Boyles, Mastin Seagle, Joshua Shuffler, Michelle Bard and Aaron Davis and two step grandchildren, Kaleigh Seagle, and Madelyn Seagle. Other family members include two brothers, Donald Hamby of Sawmills and Tom Hamby of Granite Falls as well as two sisters, Marcella Hamby of Granite Falls and Hazel Crafton of Burke Co. The Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Mackie Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
