Hagerstown, Maryland- Ronnie Eugene Shaffer, 68 of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Thursday January 31, 2019 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD. Born April 3, 1950 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Roy Joshua and Mae Evelyn Smith Shaffer. Ronnie was a Bartender for over 40 years in Washington County tending bar at the Woodpoint Bar & Grill in Hagerstown.

He owned and operated Shaff’s Pub on Salem Avenue, tended bar at Potomac Fish and Game Club in Williamsport, MD and was currently tending bar at the Williamsport American Legion Post #202. He is survived by a son Randy E. Shaffer and his wife Robin of Myrtle Beach, SC, a daughter Crissy L. Shaffer of Hagerstown, MD, a son Ronald E. Shaffer of Falling Waters, WV, a brother Kenneth W. Shaffer of Hagerstown, MD, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. There will be no viewing and services and burial will be private.
