Obituary for Rosalee Belk Rosalee Belk, age 80 Joplin, Mo. passed away early Sunday, July 15, 2018 at National Health Care in Joplin following an illness. Rosalee was born on March 2, 1938 in Macon, Mo.

the daughter of John and Rose (Mulkey) Danner. She has been a long-time area resident. She spent her days loving and caring for her family as a homemaker.

She married Jerry Lee Belk, Sr. on July 3, 1959 in Red Oak, In. , he preceded her in death in 1996. Rosalee was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and six sisters.

She is survived by a son; Jerry Belk, Jr. and wife Tonya of Joplin, a daughter; Rhonda Knight and husband Mike of Joplin, two grandchildren; Kristopher Knight and wife Erica, Kamren Knight, and three great-grandchildren; Madeleine, Allison and Soren. Services have been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
