Obituary of Rosalie Alban Rosalie Alban, 80, of Phoenix, Maryland passed away on Monday November 26, 2018 at Harrison House Senior Living in Snow Hill, Maryland. She was born December 28, 1937 in Baltimore Maryland and was the daughter of the late Josephine and Paul Czawlytko. Rosalie is survived by her husband of 60 years Richard Alban.

In addition to her husband Rosalie is survived by her son Rick Alban, daughter in law Jackie Alban, grandchildren Ricky Alban, Melanie and Chad Breichner, brothers Valentine Czawlytko and Edward Czawlytko, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosalie is predeceased by her son Kevin Alban, brother Paul Czawlytko, sisters Helen Czawlytko, Rita Urbaniak, Margaret Weiss and Theresa Cooper. Rosalie grew up on the family farm in Hampstead Maryland.

She worked for the Black and Decker Company where she met her husband. Rosalie and Dick were married in 1958 and started a family. In addition to being a homemaker she was the secretary and office manager for the family business.

Rosalie’s passion was her grandchildren. Known as Mom-Mom, she loved being in their lives and watching them grow. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed tending the gardens at the homes where she lived.

Rosalie found pleasure in decorating and cooking for the family during the holidays. Rosalie was known for was her infectious smile that brought joy to many people. Her loving nature and kindness made everyone feel welcomed and loved.

Rosalie will truly be missed. A celebration of Rosalie’s life will be held on Saturday December 8th 2018 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Rolling Road Golf Club 814 Hilltop Ave. Catonsville, MD 21228.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, to honor Rosalie’s memory, donations may be made to the Greater Jacksonville Optimist Club Inc. P.O. Box 442 Phoenix, MD 21131.
