OBITUARY Afton (Mickie) Hepworth Hobbs March 17, 1924 – November 12, 2018 Afton (Mickie) Hepworth Hobbs died on Monday, November 12, 2018, attended by her children and grandchildren. The beloved mother of Steve, Alan, Walter, Jeff, Ann, and Ellen, Afton was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Ed Hobbs, and their two sons, Jeff and Steve. She is survived by the four remaining children, 16 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren (two more expected soon).

The family invites loved ones to visit between 5 and 6:30 p.m., Friday, November 23, at Bounds Funeral Home, 705 E Main St., Salisbury, MD. A private family burial will be held on Saturday morning, followed by a memorial service and celebration of her life at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 106 Greenlawn Lane, Salisbury. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Red Cross, where Afton volunteered for many years.
