Obituary of Paul Jackson Paul Richard Jackson, 77, of Salisbury, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at his home. Born on April 4, 1941 in Takoma Park, MD, he was the son of the late Paul and Margaret Luther Jackson. Lt.

Paul Jackson retired from the Maryland State Police as Barrack Commander of the Salisbury Barrack after 22 years of service. One week after his retirement he became the Chief of Police for Fruitland. During his 15 years with the Fruitland Police Department he headed the Narcotics Task Force, working closely with the Maryland State Police and the Wicomico County Sheriff’s office.

Upon his retirement, Paul Jackson Way was named in his honor. Prior to his career in law enforcement Paul served in the US Army. He was a Golden Eagle which is an elite group of the National Rifle Association membership.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Betty J. Jackson of Salisbury; his son, John Paul Jackson and his wife Kerri of Edgewater, MD; two granddaughters, Makenzie Ann Jackson and Madelyn Sue Jackson; two sisters, Edith Potter and Margaret Gezeal and her husband John; two brothers, Howard Jackson and his wife LaRonda and James Jackson and his wife Rhonda as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his brother, David Jackson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Salisbury.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, 8301 Professional Place, Suite 200, Landover, MD 20785 or the Humane Society of Wicomico County, 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804.
