Rose M. Sheppard 79 of Duncan Falls, passed away peacefully at Cedar Hill Care Center on Tuesday, Sept 25 2018 surrounded by her family. Rose was born on October 10, 1938 in Zanesville and is the daughter of the late Clarence and Mildred (Wickham) Morosko. Rose and her husband, Don owned and operated Sheppard’s Carry Out in Duncan Falls, Midway Stop Restaurant in Chandlersville, and she worked as a care giver for local people in Duncan Falls.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Fred) Lichtner of Duncan Falls, Kim (Wally) Harmon of Chandlersville, Marcia (Todd) Glaub of Duncan Falls, and Denise (Jim Perdue) Sheppard of South Zanesville. Her seven grandchildren are Logan Anders, Tyler Lichtner, Shantyle Harmon, Tyler Harmon, Jonathan (J.C.) Glaub, Slade Glaub, and Tucker Glaub. Three Great Grandsons.

One sister Betty Jean Morosko of Dallas, Texas and a brother Philip Morosko of Zanesville, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Rose is preceded in death by her husband Donald Sheppard who passed away in Oct 1987, her brothers Daniel Morosko in 1955 and David Morosko in 2016. Friends may call 5 to 8 Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where the funeral services will be 11 Saturday with Lisa Jenkins officiating.

Rose will be laid to rest beside her husband in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
