Obituary for Rosemary Farrell Rosemary C. (Shannon) Farrell of Brighton, MI passed away peacefully Monday the 28th of May with her children and family by her side. Born in 1944, in Detroit to Luke and Marie Genevieve (Sullivan) Shannon, Rosemary graduated from Immaculata High School and attended Gesu Catholic School in Detroit. A long-time resident of Brighton, she worked as the Managing Editor of The Engravers Journal for a number of years.

Rosemary loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, as well as traveling with friends. Her volunteer work included serving at Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor. She loved socializing and always had a smile on her face to greet you, even in her last days.

She is survived by her loving children Shannon (Derek) Novara and Patrick Farrell, grandchildren Genevieve and Sean Novara, brother John (Margery) Shannon, former husband of 44 years James Farrell, many brothers- and sisters-in-law, dozens of nieces and nephews, and loving and supportive friends.
