Treasured brother, uncle and friend, Roy Benton Kennemer, age 62, passed away at his home in Marshall, Texas on Friday, May 3, 2019. He was born in Big Spring, Texas on February 11, 1957 to Raymond Abe Benton and LaDonna Sue (Lammert) Benton. Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and LaDonna Benton.

He is survived by his sisters, Anita Quada and Brenda Evetts; his brothers, Dan Benton and Lynn Benton (Tami); nephews, Nathan Benton, Troy Jones and River Parrott; nieces, Randi Woodruff, Priscilla Evetts, Crissy Evetts, Courtney Evetts, Courtney Parrott and Elizabeth Burks, as well as numerous other family members and special friends. Roy loved to play the dice game “Farkle” and will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him. A time of visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 4pm to 7pm at Meadowbrook Funeral Home.
