Obituary for Roy D. Smith Roy D. Smith, 76, of Judsonia, passed away April 17, 2018. He was born February 15, 1942 in Monet, Arkansas to Harlin Farklin and Sarah Elizabeth (Corter) Smith. He served in the United States Army and spent most of his life working in Landscaping and Law Enforcement.

He is survived by his companion, Carolyn Drennen; daughter, Derenda Smith (Jim) of Searcy; sons, DeLane Smith (Ruth Ann) of Paragould, Dematt Smith (Cindy) and Dewyatt Smith (Toni) of Judsonia; seven grandchildren, Autumn Davis and Matthew Smith of Searcy, Charity Smith of Ward, Alana Barber of Bald Knob, Tiffany Eudy of Kensett, Ryan smith of Shreveport, LA and Heath Ring of Judsonia; nine great-grandchildren, Julius Gamble, Beck Davis, Rihanna and Emily Barber, Connor Smith, Jordan and William Eudy and Maddie and Jarrett Smith; three brothers, Harvey Smith of Bradford, Howard Smith of Vilonia and Jerry Smith of Searcy; six sisters, Edith Fletcher of Alco, Virgie Wyatt of Yakima Valley, Washington, Betty Clark of Mountain View, Nadine Merriman, Wanda Mason and Mary Street of Judsonia. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Harlin Buck Smith, Eldon Henry Smith and James Robert Smith and a sister, Martha Jane Poppitz. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob.

Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 20 at the Clearwater Missionary Baptist Church in Judsonia. Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
