Roy’s Obituary Roy Lee Currens, age 84, (would be 85 on January 27, 2019) Resident of Wesley Glen Health Center, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born on January 27, 1934 in Murray City, Ohio to the late Rev. John H. & Violet Currens.

Roy spent many years in the land title/abstract industry. Roy is preceded in death by his Parents, Rev. John H. & Violet Currens, Brothers Clarence, Paul, David Currens (who passed away two weeks ago on January 04, 2019) Brother-in-law Louis (Bing) Yocke.

Roy is survived by Sisters, Ruth Yocke, Lou McCafferty, Brother, Michael Currens (Janet) Sister-in-law’s, Kay Currens, Marie Currens, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Special Family friends E. C. Kennedy, Jr. (Ruth), Michael Paider (Katy)and many Friends too numerous to name. The Family would like to Thank the entire Staff at Wesley Glen Health Center 1 & 2, Administrative Staff, for the constant loving care given to Roy; The Staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital (ER, Pallative, Hospice); JC Village Staff & Friends; Staff (Friends) at Maeder-Quint-Tiberi Funeral Home. Roy had a Positive, kind, sweet~spirit demeanor and always had an infectious smile, even when his health was declining, he was smiling.

He will be missed. A quote from his files. “You can make all the plans you want, but God has made his and doesn’t need to check in with you; to fulfill his plans”.
