Rudy Mitchell Pigott, age 41, a Robinson Township resident since July of 2012, went to be with The Lord, unexpectedly from Ohio Valley Hospital on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. His earthly mission had been fulfilled. He was born in Christiansted, St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands on May 11, 1977, cherished son of Reginald Fismores Sr. and Lydia Arabella (Francis) Pigott of Urlings, and John Hughes, Antigua.
Beloved husband of Angelina Crosby-Pigott whom he married on August 30, 2003; loving father of Josue Martinez, Jr., Ty’anna R. Pigott, Ty’enna A. Pigott and Rudy Pigott, Jr.; devoted brother of Caona Jarvis-Daniel, Ulric Jarvis, Dr. Alycia Jarvis, Sharon Jarvis, and Reginald Pigott, Jr.; son-in-law of David and Roslyn Crosby; also, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and numerous friends. Rudy, a dedicated man of faith, was a member of the Coraopolis Church of God, where he was a member of the Pastor’s Advisory Board, and a Church Trustee. He was also co-Church Planter of Restored by Grace Church.
Rudy’s favorite verse was Philippians 4:1:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Rudy worked in the Oil and Gas Industry as a Plant Operator III for CNX (Consol Energy) for four years. Rudy was known for his kind, gentle, compassionate and generous disposition and his smile that lit up a room.
He gently inserted himself into the lives of all he would meet, leaving a lasting and positive impression. Rudy’s impact on his family, friends, colleagues and everyone he interacted with was notable and will always be cherished. His joking and prankster moments will be remembered for many years to come by those with whom he engaged.
Visitation Friday, September 7, 2018, from 2 PM until time of service at 3 PM at Copeland’s Funeral Home in Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. His Celebration of Life Service will be officiated by his Pastor, Bishop Kenneth Wade of Coraopolis Church of God. Further visitation and burial will take place at Beeston Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church in St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands on September 12, 2018, and Interment in the Kingshill Cemetery.
