Russell William Haubrich, 54 of Carroll and formerly of Audubon, died Sunday, November 4, 2018. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dedham. The Celebrant will be Fr.

Brian Feller, assisted by Deacon Louis Meiners. Music will be by Cindy Bauer and the St. Joseph’s Choir. Lectors for the funeral mass will be Bob Danner and Kevin Schultes.

Gift Bearers will be Julie Tani and Kimberly Tani. Casket Bearers will be: Chris Linderblood, Matt Steffensmeier, Joshua DeVries, Nick DeVries, Adam Mikkelsen, and Dylan DeMey. Burial will be in Mt.

Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 4 p.m. on Wednesday where there will be a Christian Wake Service at 7 p.m. The casket will be moved to St. Joseph’s Church in Dedham on Thursday morning where additional visitation will be held from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll and online condolences may be left for the Haubrich family at www. sharpfuneral.com.

Russell, the son of William and Melva (Anthofer) Haubrich, was born on November 7, 1963 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Carroll, Iowa. He graduated from Audubon High School in 1982. He attended Northwest Missouri State.

On September 7, 1991, he was united in marriage to Kay Lynn Mikkelsen at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dedham. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Iowa Hawkeye fan.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Lynn Haubrich and their children, Aaron, Marissa and Emily all of Carroll; his mother, Melva Haubrich, of Carroll; his sisters: Joni (Rod) DeVries, of Ankeny, Patricia (Bobby) Cryder, of Boone, Gail (Mike) Linderblood, of Boone, Peggy (Don) Duncan of Boone, and Julie (Ron) Tani of Manhattan Beach, CA; his parents-in-law, Don and Louise Mikkelsen of Carroll; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Steve (Mary) Mikkelsen of Dedham, Mark (Laurie) Mikkelsen of Dedham, Scott (Brook) Mikkelsen of Halbur, and sister-in-law, Jane (Mark) DeMey of Carroll, as well as many nieces and nephews.
