Ruth Anna Airing, 99 of Barefoot Bay, FL and formerly of Taneytown, passed away on September 19, 2018. Born October 27, 1918 in Taneytown, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Katie (Sponceller) Smith. She was the wife of the late William F. Airing, who died in 1980.

Ruth was a member of Roseland United Methodist Church in Roseland, Fl. She conducted Bible Study and sang in the Church Choir for many years. She is survived by a son, Ronald W. Airing of Gresham, OR and a daughter Ruth E. Airing of Barefoot Bay, FL; a sister, Patrisha Monahan of Fredrick, MD; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Grace UCC Cemetery in Taneytown. The family is being assisted by Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown.
