St. Charles, Michigan Beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 74 years. The daughter of the late Walter and Mabel (Tarrent) Sweatland, Ruth was born on July 10, 1944 in St. Charles, Michigan.

She married Kenneth Greve on January 21, 1961. He predeceased her on April 2, 1999. Surviving are two sons, Robert (Debra) Greve and Ronald Greve; a daughter-in-law, Charlene Greve; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Anna Mae Roth; many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her son Kelly Greve and three brothers, Leroy, Frank and Duane. Honoring Mrs. Greve’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home of Saginaw.
