Ruth E. Larimer (Trankle), 81, passed away Thursday, November 8th, peacefully, at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. Ruth was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 2, 1937, a daughter of the late Kathryn (Hemingway) and Albert Trankle. She was the wife of the late Donald Larimer, who passed away in 2003.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Grogg, and a great-grandchild, Adalie Rose Wagner. Ruth is survived by three children: June Brown of Pottsville, Bud Larimer of Pottsville, and Donna Hughes, wife of Thomas, of Pottsville. She is also survived by a son-in-law, John Grogg of Schuylkill Haven, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Services are will be held privately at the convenience of family. Memorial contributions may be made to Word of Life Baptist Church 302 N. Centre Street Pottsville, PA 17901. Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
