Ruth’s Obituary Obituary Ruth Fife, 79 Ruth Fife passed away peacefully in her home on May 28, 2019. She was born on March 16, 1940 to Alfred Earl and Mable Clark, in her grandfather’s basement in Malad, Idaho. She lived in Malad until her family moved to Arco when she was 8 years old.

She attended schools in Arco until her junior and senior year. She graduated from Snake River High School. She married Wesley Dale Fife on August 7, 1959.

Together they were sealed for all time and eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple. They were blessed with five children; Julie, Karen, Brian, Terry and Shelley. Ruth served in many capacities for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was always willing to serve and and was kind and loving to all those who knew her. Ruth is survived by her husband, Dale Fife; children, Julie (Greg) Lee, Karen Fife, Brian Fife, Terry Fife, and Shelley (Jeff) Jamieson; 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; sister, Emma Jean; brother, Bob; and great grandson, Xander.

The family would like to thank Hands of Hope and their staff; Anjula, Karen, Amy, Colleen, Jessica, Chris, and Audra, for all that they have done. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Blackfoot 11th Ward, 660 Teton Dr. Family will meet with friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2019 at Hawker Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
