Ruth Rice Glasgow, 90, Florence, AL passed away, May 25, 2018. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 2-3 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Dr. Will Rushing will be officiating the service.

Burial will be in Phil Campbell Cemetery. She was a member of First Baptist Church Phil Campbell, AL and attended Woodward Avenue Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals, AL. She was owner and operator of Happy Day Kindergarten in Phil Campbell for over 20 years.

She was known as Ms. Ruth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Lela McBrayer; 1st husband, Owen Rice; 2nd husband, Braxton Glasgow, Jr.; brothers, Neal, and O.J. McBrayer; sister, Vera Hooper. She is survived by her husband, William Edwards of Muscle Shoals; son, Alton Rice (Susan) of Florence; brother, Bruce McBrayer; grandchildren, Jessi Rice Warren; and great grandchild, Journie West.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Hayes, Tommy James, Greg McBrayer, Anthony McBrayer, and Anthony Warren and Tommy Howard.
