Obituary for Sandra Ann Haynes Sandie Ann Haynes, age 63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, in her Lewisville home with her daughter by her side. Sandie was born on October 28, 1954, in Toledo, OH to Charles and Catherine Samson. She was raised and spent the first half of her life in Toledo, OH and spent the second half Dallas, TX.

Sandie worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant for 25+ years with EDS and 10+ years with Texas Instruments. Sandie was an excellent cook, liked to sew and garden, and loved spending time with her family. Her greatest joy in life were her daughter and two grandsons as she loved being a mother and grandmother.

“Mimi” was cherished by both boys and the three of them spent as much time together as possible. Sandie was a gracious, strong, smart, determined, and a loving wife, mom, Mimi. She will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sandie is survived by her adoring daughter and son-in-law, Kylie and Kord Schrowangen and grandsons Kage and Krew of Denton, TX; sisters, Cathie (Guy) Harman of Metamora, OH and Cindie (Tom) Schmit of Appleton, WI; nieces, Hollie (Sam) Hendricks of Zanesville, OH and Candace (Jeremy) Parker of Sylvania, OH; and several great nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Sandie was preceded in death by her husbands, Gary Colquhoun of Toledo, OH and Mark Haynes of Dallas TX; parents, Charles and Catherine Samson of Toledo, OH; and sister, Pennie Samson of Toledo, OH. A Memorial Service honoring the life of Sandie will be held Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at 2:00pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5500 Morris Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Sandie’s name to the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Upcoming Events Memorial Service , SEP 22.
