Pittsburgh, PA. Sandra D. “Sandy” Caughey, A lifelong Chester resident, passed away at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh on Thursday, May 3, 2018, after being diagnosed with lung cancer in March. 57 years old, Sandy was born in East Liverpool on July 6, 1960, to the late Harold L. and Opal G. Hooper Angle She was a 1979 graduate of Oak Glen High School and she had worked as a clerk at the Chaney Service Station in Chester for the past seventeen years.

Earlier, Sandy had worked at the Conkle Farm in Chester for several years. Sandy’s husband, who she married on June 26, 1987, Patrick A. Caughey survives at home. She had three children, Melissa Caughey and her fiancée, Zak Ollis, Trevor Caughey, and Jered Caughey and his fiancée, Phanecia Carter, all of Chester.

She also leaves two very special granddaughters, Sophia and Ella Ollis. Also surviving are Sandy’s siblings, Suzanne (Del) Wright of Chester, Shelia (Tom) Weber, Sherry Michael, Sharron Kidder, Shirley Angle, Robert Angle of Newell, Carol Anny Butler and Charles (Joyce) Angle of Chester, and Darrell Lillie of East Liverpool.
