Wilma M. Buckley, 93, of New Cumberland, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Heritage Valley Beaver, following a brief illness. Born, May 17, 1925, in Pughtown, WV. , she is a daughter of the late Carl and Callie Allison.

She was also preceded in death by her son, James Richmond Buckley. Wilma was a 1942 graduate of Chester High School. She was a homemaker and was blessed to be able to stay at home and raise her 6 children.

Wilma was a Presbyterian by faith. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting and was a member of the Hookstown Grange for 75 years. Wilma was also a member of the Brighton Township Fireman’s Auxiliary.

Wilma will be deeply missed by her husband of 75 years, Robert L. Buckley Sr.; children, Robert L. Buckley Jr. and his wife Shirley of Beaver, PA. , JoAnne Mengel and her husband David of Rochester, PA. , AynnRae Bower and her husband John of Indianapolis, IN.

, Donald Buckley of Indianapolis, IN. and Scott Buckley of New Cumberland; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Rev.

Mark Wilds will celebrate Wilma’s life on Monday, July 30, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Interment will follow at the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery in Hooktstown, PA. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, July 29, 2018, from 1:00 PM- 7:00 PM.
