Sandra Kay Ring, 51, of Terre Haute passed away on April 18, 2018 at home with family after a long battle with cancer. She was born on February 12, 1967 to Eugene Saucerman and Sally (Casey) Saucerman. Sandy is preceded in death by her mother; She is survived by her husband, Allen Ring; son Cody Ring; her father; and mother-in-law Sally (Ring) Gard.

Sandy met her husband when they were in kindergarten, she had brought home a photo of Allen and told her mother that was the boy she was going to marry, which then happened 29 years later. She was a 1985 Terre Haute South graduate. Sandy became an Elementary Reading Teacher after completing her Master’s Degree from Indiana State University.

She enjoyed scrapbooking, and loved being a mother. She attended Pimento Methodist Church. Visitation for Sandy will be held on Saturday April 21 from 4-8 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.

Services will be Sunday, April 22 starting at 2 pm with burial to follow at New Harmony Cemetery. Pastor Tim Voll will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in an Educational Trust Fund for their son Cody.
