Sandra L. Williams, 79, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018. She was born in Pikeville, KY on November 10, 1938 and grew up in Weston, W.Va. where she graduated high school and where she met and married her childhood sweetheart, H. Edward Williams.

Sandra was an active member of the Barberton PTA, where she served as a past president. Mom was an avid sports fan always listening to games on the radio or watching games on TV and sometimes both. She rarely missed any of her children’s or grandchildren’s sporting events.

Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Grace Pool; husband of 51 years, H. Edward Williams and son, Jeffrey Scott Williams. Survived by her children, Stephen and Kathy Williams, Michele (Williams) and Steven Carpenter, Michael and Pamela Williams, Shawn Williams and Jim Keller; grandchildren, Jeremy (Kylene) Carpenter, Amanda (Kevin) Uhl, Emilie (Stephen) Wright, Andrew (Abby) Carpenter, Nick (Angie) and Josh Williams, Estell and Madison Williams and Shawn Shafer; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Lily Carpenter, Kenzie, Kelsey, Olivia, Sophia, Sadie and Hayden Uhl, Graham Williams and coming soon, Elijah Wright; sister, Carol Bickel; along with other relatives and friends. Sandra’s funeral service will be held Thursday, May 24th at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave.
