Sandra Sullivan, age 70, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 12th at Signature HealthCare in South Bend. Sandy was born February 3, 1948 in South Bend, to the late Jack and Dorothy R. (Grzeskowiak)Thomas. She was a 1966 graduate of Riley High School and received the Perfect Attendance Award for all four years.

Sandy is survived by her son Shawn (Carolyn) Sullivan of Phoenix, AZ, Cassandra (Patrick Dolan) Sullivan of LaPorte, IN, grandchildren: Joshua Werntz, Brianna (Scott Kalvaitis) Powers, Landen Cerrillos and great-grandchildren: Brynna Werntz, Dehlia and Leo Kalvaitis. Also surviving are her two sisters and three brothers: Linda Binder of Austin, TX, Kenneth Thomas of Columbus, GA, Valerie (David) Scholl of Mason, OH; John (Carla) Thomas of Edwardsburg, MI. and Michael (Michele) Thomas of Viera, FL; along with nephews and nieces: Bre Lyn Binder of Austin, TX, Jonelle (Ashley) Neave of Austin, TX, Corey Binder of Austin, TX, Justin (Trella) Scholl of Martinsville, IN, Aaron (Nichole) Scholl of Carmel, IN, Shannon Thomas of Allendale, MI, Jared Thomas of Chicago, IL, Joshua Thomas of Denver, CO, Alison (Zach) Riser of Mishawaka, IN, Austin Luft of Muncie, IN and Jessica Luft of West Lafayette, IN.

Sandy loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Family was the most important thing to her. She loved music and was known as the Bingo Queen at Signature.

Visitation will be from 1-3 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with her brother, Kenneth Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
