71, of Providence, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at home. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pasqualina (Nobile) LaPierre. Sandra was a CNA for over 30 years, before retiring.

She was employed by both Elm Brook Home and Golden Crest Nursing Centre. She is survived by her daughter Leah Ionata of Providence. Sandra was the dear sister of Patricia Colon, Stephen LaPierre, and the late Michael and Gerald LaPierre.

She also leaves behind her dear pets, “Jack and Baby”. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston on Monday at 10 a.m. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will take follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
