Sandra Marie (Miles) Jacobs, 75, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018. Sandra was born in Evansville, Indiana on August 15, 1943 to the late Kenneth and Ursula (Lenfers) Miles. She graduated from North High School and worked in the cafeteria and daycare at Delaware Elementary School where she retired after 27 years of service.

Sandra was a faithful member of at Boeke Road Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. Sandra’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter and great grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Pamela Hayes (Randy) of Evansville, IN and Tammy Todd (Vance) of Marion, KY; her son, C. Jason Jacobs of Evansville, IN; sisters, Judy McCain (Claude) and Sherri Miles both of Virginia; a granddaughter, April Hayes; great grandchildren, Brenden Pribble, Zachary Beckman and Kyle Beckman; and by her cousin, Buddy Lenfers (Beverly). Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Cecil Jacobs in 2016; a daughter in infancy, Cecilia J. Jacobs; a sister, Becky Miles; and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave.

, Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Stephen Russ officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 9:30 AM until service time on Thursday.
