She was born August 18, 1962 in Ogden, the daughter of Sam and Sarah Henry. She graduated from Clearfield High School and she worked at the Internal Revenue Service, Ogden for over 25 years as a Human Re Specialist.

She had eight siblings, sisters: Sherry Huber, Kaysville; Sharon (deceased); Sharlene Lano, West Haven; Sylvia Henry, Layton; and Suzanne Henry (deceased). Her brothers: Samuel (Joann), Isleta Pueblo, New Mexico; Stewart (deceased); and Myron, Ogden. Sandra’s greatest joy and pride were her three children: sons, Seger and Ray, and her daughter April.

She adored her seven grandchildren as well: Elysia, Lillianna, Liana, Ruben, Lorenzo, Aiyana, and Ray Jr. (Little Bear). She also treasured her children’s soul-mates: Heather O’Connell (Ray), and Ryan Fellenz (April). Sandra enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hike and climb the cliffs in Chinle, AZ.

She also loved to play tennis, softball, and darts in her younger days. She was a sports enthusiast and cheered for the Denver Broncos. She loved life, and deeply enjoyed spending time with her good friends, siblings, and her many nieces and nephews.

She always made us laugh and we could always seek her advice. Those who knew her, remember her long beautiful hair blowing out the window of her hot Camaro and Firebird. Her children are grateful for the love and support by family and friends, especially her best friend Arlene Charley.

They would also like to express their gratitude for the care and tenderness given Sandra by the skilled staff of Inspiration Home Health & Hospice. She and the family were blessed by your presence and gentle spirit. A ‘Celebration of Life’ Memorial Service for Sandra will be held at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 South 1950 West, Roy, Utah on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. We love you Mom (Shimá) and Grandma (Shimá sání)!
