Obituary for Sandra Sue Abruzzino (Quinn) Sandra Sue (Quinn) Abruzzino, 77, of Gypsy Community passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. She was born October 3, 1941 a daughter of the late Wilbert and Julia Marie (Palmer) Quinn. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles “Gibby” Abruzzino, whom she married on October 21, 1959.

She is also survived by her children, Dr. Gino Abruzzino and his wife Susan; Chris Abruzzino; Anthony Abruzzino and his wife Debbie; and Tom Abruzzino and his wife Wendy; her grandchildren, Matthew and Carrie Abruzzino; Ashley and Drew Vernon; Tucker Abruzzino; Brittany and Justin Carey; Christopher Abruzzino; Kolby Abruzzino; Sydney Abruzzino; and Sophia Abruzzino; her great-grandchildren, Maxx Abruzzino; and Mila and Emma Vernon; her siblings, Wilberta “Bobbie” Tocorzic; Nancy and Robert Armstrong; Frances and Bob Mick; and Roger and Beverly Quinn; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Richard “Dick” Quinn; and her sisters, Gloria Jenkins and Bernice “Skip” Lewis. Sandra graduated from Shinnston High School in 1959.

She was a beautician and was the long-time office manager for the family owned Abruzzino’s Italian Bakery. Sandra was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Sunday from 2-8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Shinnston, on Monday, December 24th at 10:30 am with Father Jude Perera T.O.R. as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences can be extended to the family at www.
