Obituary for Sarah Christine Edwards “Amazing Grace” Sarah Christine Edwards, age 42, born July 7, 1976. A special angel came Sunday November 11, 2018 and took her home to be with Jesus. She was a very special daughter who was loved so very much by her parents Jerry and Linda Poore.
She was proceeded in death by her grandparents Grant and Mary Jane Horton, Gene and Mamie Walker, a special uncle Pastor Luther Presley and Carl Presley, special cousin Wilma Presley Cox, nephew Robbie Good and Uncle Bobby Poore. She is survived by her loving parents, Jerry and Linda Poore; sisters, Becky and Robbie Bowlin, B.J. and Johnny Ferguson, and Kelly Muniz, Michelle McDonald; brothers, Ray McDonald, Michael Poore, Wayne Poore, and Shane Stevens; special aunts that she loved so much Nancy McDavid, Mae Edwards, Robin Horton, Tiny Crawford, Punch Hamilton, Edith Presley, Maxie Poore; Etta Pippin, Jodi Walker, Debbie Poore, Leona Gregg, Ruby Robertson, Delores Jones, and Katie Stevens; special uncles, Earnest Pippin, Randall Walker, Eddie Gregg, Roy Poore, Delmar Edwards, Dennis Crawford, J.J. Hamilton, and Jack Poore; nephews, Aaron Collier, Garrett Collier, and Jacob Collier; niece, Raychel McDonald; special cousins, Howard and Lisa Presley and Dorothy Presley; great nieces who she loved very much and was so proud of Paislee McDonald; special friend, Loiuse Brummet; her beloved dogs, Rocky and Sampson. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Gate City Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Steven Holt, and Pastor Allen Brummett officiating. True Faith will provide the music. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Horton Family Cemetery, Hancock County, TN.
Nieces and nephews she loved so dearly, Josh Good, Kayla Bowlin, R.J McDonald, Kodie Poore, Karla Bowlin, Sierra McDonald, and Jared McDonald will serve as pallbearers. Ava Stevens, Miguel Muniz, Paislee McDonald, Isaiah Bowlin will be serving as Honorary Pallbearers. Riders by Faith will provide music at the graveside service.
