Obituary for David Bruce Bledsoe David Bruce Bledsoe, 57, Duffield VA David Bruce Bledsoe passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at his residence in Duffield Virginia. David was born on June 28, 1961 in Wise County, Virginia to the late Curtis Bradley Bledsoe and Reva Jane (Thompson) Bledsoe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
and a former truck driver. In addition to his parents his sister Deborah Clark proceeded him in death. He is survived by his daughters, Leslie Bledsoe and fiancé Keith McConnell, Duffield VA, Miranda Smith and husband Nathan, Kingsport TN; grandchildren, Allen McConnell, Zachary Tester, Meghan Tester; mother of his children, Donna Ledford, Church Hill TN; sisters, Brenda Fletcher (Keith) TN, Jenny Crusenberry (Keith), Church Hill TN, Karen Bledsoe, Danville, IN; brother, Mark Bledsoe (Teldia), Stickleyville VA; special friends, Joe Lomsak Duffield VA and Steve Payne, Mt.
Carmel TN; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Thursday November 29, 2018 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. with Evangelist Garry Hood officiating.
Burial will follow at the Robbins Family Cemetery in the Pattonsville Community with military rights conducted by American Legion Hammond Post #3 of Kingsport, TN and #265 of Gate City Virginia.
