Obituary for Bobby “Bob” Marshall Bobby “Bob” Marshall-Nickelsville, VA Bobby Martin Marshall, 76, Nickelsville, VA passed away, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the John Hopkins Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. Mr. Marshall was born in Scott County, VA on August 19, 1942 to the late Aubrey Clifford and Lila Lawson Marshall. In addition to his parents, his daughter, Becky Marshall; 3 brothers; 2 sisters, and his Great Nephew, Jeremy Davidson preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce “Joy” Marshall, Nickelsville, VA; daughter, Michelle Roach and husband, Travis, Midland, VA; sister, Wana Henry and husband, Morris, Church Hill, TN; brothers, Lowell Marshall and wife, Jeanie, Nickelsville, VA, Billy Marshall, Wytheville, VA; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Graves, Travis Lee Roach, Daniel Roach; along with 7 great grandchildren, Elijah, Olivia, Mikayla, Cheyanne, D.J., Aiden and Callie. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00pm in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Arville Dingus officiating.

Joyful Noise will provide the music. Graveside services will be conducted at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, VA at 11:00am, Friday, January 4, 2019. Services will be conducted in the mausoleum of the cemetery.

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Dr. Gregory DeMotts and Alan Hicks will serve as honorary pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
