Michael was born on January 12, 1958 to the late Glen Lilbern Baldwin and Loiuse Victoria Laney. In addition to his parents, his infant sister Pauline Baldwin preceded him in death.
He is survived by his sons, Anthony Baldwin fiancé Susie Montgomery, Bristol, TN, Michael James Baldwin Jr. wife Shonda Baldwin, sisters, Carolyn Culbertson (Mark) Nicklesville, VA, Racheal Collins (William Shaky) Castlewood, VA, Regina Reed (Carl) Weber City, VA, Patricia Streeter (Tony) Phenix City, AL; brothers, Dewey Baldwin (Maria), Kingsport, TN, Roy Baldwin (Martha), Nickelsville, VA, Paul Baldwin (Ruth), Gate City, VA; grandchildren, Chloe Baldwin, and Savannah Baldwin; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Gate City Funeral Home on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Riley Boy.
