Drew, 85, of Connersville passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 while a patient at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. She was born on February 16, 1934 in Connersville, and is the daughter of the late Arthur Hudson and Ottilliea Hurmish. On March 10, 1951, Sarah married Fredrick Drew Sr

They were able to spend 46 years together until he passed away on October 10, 1997. Sarah had been a charter member of Baptist Temple in Connersville. Sarah spent her time taking care of her children and grandchildren.

She cherished all the time that she spent with her family. She is survived by a daughter, Connie Sue (Rodney) Nicely of Connersville; five sons, Paul (Mary) Drew Sr. of Connersville, Steve (Paula) Drew of Connersville, Don Drew of Connersville, Tom (Tresa) Drew of New Castle and Fred (Stephanie) Drew Jr. of Connersville; 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Hudson, Raymond Hudson and Paul Hudson; three sisters, Ann Combs, Bertha Elliston, Elsie Hudson; and a grandson, James Drew.

Visitation for Sarah will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th St. Connersville, IN 47331. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Ferreira of Connersville Baptist Temple officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel North Cemetery.
