Dona Hisel August 07, 1930 – March 06, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Dona Marlene Hisel, 88, of Liberty passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Heritage House in Connersville. She was born on August 7, 1930 in Oxford, Ohio to the late Andrew Wallen and Emma Mae Conklin Wallen. Dona was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Liberty, Indiana.

In her leisure time she enjoyed sewing and doing crafts. Dona was always putting her family first. She cherished the times she spent with her family and grandchildren.

Dona is survived by a daughter, Debbie Hisel; two sons, Ray Hisel and David Hisel; five grandchildren, Stacey, Melissa, Zach, David III and Liz; 8 great grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Cress. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by, 2 brothers, Joseph and Vergil; and 5 sisters, Isabella, Dorothy, Mary, Rosanna and Nora. Visitation for Dona will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home, 310 N. Main Street, Liberty, Indiana.

The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor John David Jordan of First Baptist Church of Laurel officiating. Burial will follow in West Point Cemetery.
