Richard Harris, 65, of Connersville, passed away early Monday morning, May 13, 2019, at Golden Living Center in Richmond where he had been a resident for the past month. One of three children of Ralph R. and Laura N. Harris, Richard was born in Connersville on February 16, 1954, and graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1972. A musician all his life, Richard enjoyed writing and performing music and was a member of Higher Praise Worship Center.

Survivors include two sons, Jacob Harris of Connersville and Jesse Harris of Richmond; a sister, Ann Harris of New York; and a brother, David Harris of Arizona. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, at Dale Cemetery. Pastor Richard Ware will officiate.
