Ivan Davidson August 30, 1931 – May 09, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Ivan Davidson, 87, of Connersville, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Reid Health in Richmond. He was born on August 30, 1931, in Welchburg, Kentucky, and is the son of Oscar Davidson and Lucy King Davidson. On January 15, 1983, he married Olga Ernestine Rolen in Connersville.

He served with the United States Army during the Korean War and had been stationed in Japan. Ivan had attended Full Gospel Holiness Church. He retired from D&M/ Frigidaire after working there for more than 25 years.

Along with his wife of 36 years, he is survived by a daughter, Denisea Whitten, of Georgia; a step-daughter, Drema Padilla, of Connersville; a son, Steven Davidson, of Connersville; a sister, Lucille Robinson, of McKee, KY; a brother, Edward (Brenda) Davidson, of Connersville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two nieces, and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kristy Lynn; two step-sons, John Westerfield and Rocky Westerfield, and a great-grandson, Wyatt Alan Dan Henderson. Visitation for Ivan will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 14, at 11:00am, at the funeral home, with Reverend Robert Lee and Pastor Jeff Hensley officiating. Burial with military graveside honors presented by The Fayette County Honor Guard will follow in Everton Cemetery.
