OBITUARY Sarah Gail Parmley March 5, 1939 – November 17, 2018 Sarah Gail Finch Parmley March 5, 1939 – November 17, 2018. She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Gail, a resident of Helena, Alabama, was born in Lamar County, Alabama, and she passed away peacefully at the age of 79.

She retired from Bridgestone/Firestone after 20 years of service. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and she was dearly loved by her family.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Cameron Finch and Lois Seay Finch; her brother, Billy Seay Finch. Gail is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Glenn Edward Parmley; her daughter, Shannon Haynes Parmley; her son, Ryan Edward Parmley; two granddaughters, Sarah Anne Mitchell Welch and Lillian Corinne Welch, along with several other family members and a host of friends. Services will be held at Canaan Baptist Church, 2543 Morgan Road, Bessemer, Alabama, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.

Visitation to begin at 10:00 AM with the funeral service at Noon followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, Alabama. Services officiated by Pastor Morgan Bailey.
