Obituary for Sarah Helen Barber Clermont, Florida — Sarah Helen Barber of Clermont, Florida passed away on June 13, 2018. She was 86. Sarah was born on July 14, 1931 to Harold and Jessie Weatherton Berry in Valdosta, Georgia and moved to Florida in 1934 from there.

She was employed as a bridal consultant for Maas Brothers in St. Petersburg for 4 years as well as at Beaucler Elementary in Jacksonville for 5 years. Sarah was a member of First United Methodist Church in Clermont and enjoyed a deep faith all her life, she brought joy to people’s lives with gifts. She is remembered as a loving, outgoing and sweet lady, who never met a stranger, and when she talked with you got to know you very well, but above all, her priority wads to her family.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Robert Barber. Sarah is survived by her sons, William Barber and his wife, Linda of Bradenton, FL and Wesley B. Barber and his wife, Cecilia of Kissimmee, FL; daughter, Mary Barber Pierce and her husband, Barry of Jacksonville, FL; brother, David Berry; sisters, Elizabeth Gaw of Largo, FL, Sandra Sue Berry of Largo, FL; step grandchildren, Christian, Angela, Briceylla, all of Kissimmee, FL; 2 grandchildren, Victoria Barber, Logan Barber, both of Clermont, FL and many loved nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 12 noon until the funeral at 1:00 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
