Obituary for Marjorie M. “Margie” Crump Marjorie M. “Margie” Crump, of Davenport, FL, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018. She was 71. Margie was born on October 29, 1946 to Lawerence and Bernice (Crosby) Williams.

She moved to Davenport, FL forty years ago from Dundee, FL, she was an executive director in the hospitality industry and was an active member of the Still Water Christian Life Center in Haines City, FL. Margie was a faithful servant of the Lord. She loved her church and reading the Bible.

Margie was very family oriented and she was the matriarch of the family. Margie loved family gatherings, cooking, candy, traveling, yard sales, shopping and fishing. She enjoyed playing all kinds of games like puzzles and cards.

She lived her life to the full, always brought a smile to everyone face and helped many people unconditionally. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed any opportunity to spend time with them, including her favorite holiday, Christmas. Her house was always decorated for the occasion and she loved Christmas music.

Margie’s life was one of great devotion to her family and her legacy of love will be remembered forever. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Crump; children, Bob Newberry and wife, Alana of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Clarence Writtenberry Jr. and wife, Angela of Kissimmee, Florida; daughters, Sue Slaughter of Dundee, Florida, Detra Anderson and husband Tim of Haines City, Florida and Donna Parlor and husband Danny of Davenport, Florida; sisters, Wanda Tyree of Chiefland, Florida, Gladys Johnson and husband Melvin of Chiefland, Florida and Delilah Waddle of Menlo Park, California; sister-in-laws, Lucille Williams and Patricia Williams; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; and many friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 20th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. all at Still Water Christian Life Center in Haines City, Florida.
