Obituary for Viola L. Johnson Viola L. Johnson, 92, of Haines City, FL passed away on September 21, 2018. She was born on January 13, 1926 in Springfield, VT to Mary and Earl Baker. Viola was an avid reader, particularly mysteries, and she enjoyed sending beautiful written cards and letters to family and friends as well as being an animal lover, and she leaves behind a special pet, her cat, Max.

She was a devoted wife to her husband, William H. Johnson, Sr. and although she became a widow in 1982, she remained a faithful and loving wife by always keeping a picture, of the love of her life, by her bedside. Viola was also predeceased by her son, Gary Wayne Johnson and her only sister, Virginia. She is survived by her son, William H. (Judy) Johnson, Jr; daughter, Clisty Sue Touchstone; grandchildren, Jodi (Frank), Joni (Jason), Steven (Monica), Sean, Crystal (David), Shaylynn (Woody) and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 11 am until the funeral at 12 noon at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL and the committal will follow at 2:30 pm at Christmas Cemetery, Christmas, FL.
