Obituary for Dan Tanner James Daniel “Dan” Tanner, 82, of Winter Haven passed away on Sunday September 2, 2018 at his residence. Born December 9, 1935 in Falco, AL to Joe and Irene Palmer Tanner he moved to his house in the Wahneta area 53 years ago. He was retired from Polk Roofing Supply and was a member of the New Harvest Worship Center in Lake Wales.

He is preceded in death by his son, Neil Tanner. Dan is survived by: his wife of 57 years, Mary; 2 daughters, Janice Meeks and her husband, Kenny of Winter Haven and Michelle Branch and her husband Bert of Winter Haven; and a granddaughter, Laura Branch. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow. Condolences may be sent at www. oakridgefuneralcare.com.
