Obituary for Elizabeth Malave Rodriguez Elizabeth Malave Rodriguez, of Haines City, Florida passed away on July 8, 2018 at the age of 47. She was born on December 21, 1970 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Pedro Malave and Narda Justiniano. Elizabeth was raised in Brooklyn, New York from 1973 until 1996 then she moved to Haines City, where she lived for 22 years.

Elizabeth was a homemaker and a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Haines City, FL. Elizabeth was a devoted wife, a faithful servant of the Lord, and helped many people. She was everything to her parents.

Elizabeth married her high school sweetheart, Rafael Rodriguez. She cared for him, loved him and she dedicate her life to him. Elizabeth had a cat name Wonda, who she adored.

She enjoyed her time in the kitchen by always cooking for her husband and creating all kinds of recipes. Her family will always remember her as a sweet person, someone who always listens and she will be missed by those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Rafael Rodriguez of Haines City, FL; three siblings, Pedro Malave and wife, Elizabeth of Kenner, Louisiana, Edwin Malave and wife, Mildred of Hollywood, Alabama and Samuel Malave and wife, Myrna of Orlando, FL; and seven nephews, Pedro, Edwin, Sam Jr., David, Jonathan, Neftali and Eric. A Visitation will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida. Interment will take place after the service at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City Florida.
