Obituary for Cory James “Chimby” Negrón López Cory James “Chimby” Negrón López, 30, of Haines City, FL passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at South Lake Hospital Four Corners in Clermont, FL. He was born on January 22, 1988, to Jorge Luis Negron Rodriguez and Ana Myrna (Lopez Rodriguez) Melendez. Cory obtained an Associate Degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician in Puerto Rico.
He worked as a plumber but in his spare time, he liked to tinker on cars. He enjoyed it so much that he decided to register at Mech-Tech School in Orlando, FL with his wife, to get his degree in automobile mechanics. He moved to Haines City in 2014 from Puerto Rico and then later on, moved to Davenport, on August 1, 2017 with his wife.
He was a humble person, cheerful, hardworking, who let himself be loved and from time to time, he was a little shy. Cory never said “no” to anyone, he always helped those people who asked for his help, without expecting anything in return. He would always joke, sing and dance.
He loved music, especially “reggeaton”. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, four wheeler, bicycle and skateboard. He loved being with his wife, going to the beach, cooking and playing PlayStation.
He was a great son, husband, brother and friend, and he will be truly missed by all who knew him. Cory was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandfather, Alejandro Lopez; and paternal grandfather, Jorge Negron. He is survived by his wife, of 1 year, Ileana Dominguez; mother, Ana Myrna Melendez from Haines City, FL; brothers, Alexander Melendez and wife, Elizabeth Martinez of Orlando, FL and Jorge Negron of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sister, Ana Nikita Negron of Davenport, FL; maternal grandmother, Cruz Lopez Rodriguez of Haines City, FL; paternal grandmother, Glotilde Rodriguez of Puerto Rico; nieces / nephews, Nikita Santiago, Elian Santiago, Ixander Melendez, Olexa Melendez, David Negron, Emily Negron; best friend; Christian Riquelme and wife, Jamie Lee Mayol; and many devoted friends.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. El nació el día 22 de enero del 1988, hijo de Jorge Luis Negrón Rodríguez y Ana Myrna (López Rodríguez) Melendez.
Cory obtuvo un Grado de Asociado de Técnico de Refrigeración y Aire Acondicionado en Puerto Rico. El trabajaba de plomero pero en su tiempo libre le gustaba mecanear. Tanto le gustaba, que el decidió registrarse en la escuela Mech-Tech en Orlando,FL junto con su esposa para poder obtener su grado en mechánica de automobiles.
El se mudó a Haines City en el 2014 de Puerto Rico y luego se mudó a Davenport, el 1 de Agosto del 2017 con su esposa. Era una persona humilde, alegre, trabajadora, que se dejaba querer y de vez en cuando, el era un poco tímido. Cory nunca decía “no” a nadie, siempre ayudaba a esas personas que pedian de su ayuda, sin esperar nada a cambio.
Siempre estaba relajando, cantando y bailando. Le gustaba mucho la música, en especial el “reggeaton”. También le encantaba correr motora, fourtract, bicicleta y patineta.
El amaba estar junto a su esposa, ir a la playa, cocinar y jugar PlayStation. El fué un gran hijo, esposo, hermano y amigo, y su presencia le hará falta a todas esas personas que tanto lo quisieron. Cory fué precedido en muerte por su papá; abuelo materno, Alejandro López; y abuelo paterno, Jorge Negrón.
El es sobrevivido por su esposa, de un año, Ileana Dominguez; madre, Ana Myrna Melendez de Haines City, Fl; hermanos, Alexander Melendez y esposa, Elizabeth Martinez de Orlando, FL y Jorge Negrón de Fort Lauderdale, FL; hermana, Ana Nikita Negrón de Davenport, FL; abuela maternal, Cruz López Rodríguez de Haines City, FL; abuela paterna, Glotilde Rodríguez de Puerto Rico; sobrinas/sobrinos, Nikita Santiago, Elian Santiago, Ixander Melendez, Olexa Melendez, David Negrón, Emily Negrón; mejor amigo; Christian Riquelme y esposa, Jamie Lee Mayol; y mucho devotos amigos. La Visita en cuerpo presente será el sábado 29 de septiembre del 2018 a las 9:30 a. m. seguido por el servicio funeral a las 10:30 a. m. todo en la capilla de Oak Ridge Funeral Care en Haines City, FL.
