Obituary for Kristen Caruso-Melero Kristen Caruso-Melero, 38, formerly of Shirley, NY passed away on May 26, 2018 in Florida, where she had been living the past 2 years. Kristen was born on January 18, 1980 in East Patchogue, NY. She was baptized in St Jude Roman Catholic Church in Mastic Beach, NY and was a very spiritual person.

Kristen was a licensed cosmetologist, having worked for Kevin Maple in Southampton, Cactus Salon in Port Jefferson and Salon Nevaeh in Shirley. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, as well as having a true passion for singing. She is predeceased by her father, Frank Caruso and is survived by her husband, David Melero; mother, Julie Caruso; children, David Melero, Anthony Melero, Aleiyah Kristen Melero; siblings, Robert Caruso and Kayla Caruso.

A visitation will be Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 1 pm until 3 pm and from 5 pm until the funeral at 6 pm, all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Memorials may be made to givekidstheworld.org.
