Sarah Hastings Hudson, 78, went to be with her Lord April 30, 2018. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Thursday May 3, 2018 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Winston-Salem.

A native of Forsyth County, Sarah was the daughter of the late Lillie Edith Everidge and Carr Dewitt Hastings. In addition to her parents Sarah also was preceded in death by her siblings Edward Hastings, Harold Hastings, Barbara Hilton, and Lois Lamendola. She was retired from Roadway Express.

She was a longtime member of Main Street Baptist Church and was in the Ladies Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband of 32 years Clay Hudson, Sr.; daughter Pamela Summer of Oak Ridge; son Brian McGraw and Amy of Pleasant Garden; granddaughter Peyton McGraw; and stepsons Clay Hudson, Jr. and Donna of Kernersville, and Jeff Hudson of Raleigh. The family will visit with friends from 10:00AM until time for the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
