He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was born in Richmond, VA on September 15, 1964 and was a graduate of Hermitage High School, class of 1982, where he played football for the Hermitage Panthers.

He maintained a life-long love for sports. He worked for the Sheet Metal Workers Local 100, Washington, D.C. for 15 years where he ended his career working at the Pentagon. He loved spending time with his family, on his motorcycle and working on projects around the house.

He never turned down a request to help others. He remained strong in his faith to the very end. He was preceded in death by his father, Scotty Ray Anderson Sr.; and son, Kevin Adam Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa; sons, Kenny Anderson, David Vandermark, Danny Vandermark and Tony Vandermark; daughter, Brittany Anderson; granddaughters, Adrianna Anderson, Somara Tuttle and Madelyn Tuttle; grandsons, Gabriel Vandermark, Kaden Vandermark and baby Link on the way; mother, Nancy Stout Anderson; brother, Paul Anderson (Taylor, Parker, Pierce and Peyton); sister, Cynthia Anderson; uncle, Buddy Stout (Frieda); a man’s best friend, Kasper; and a large extended family. The family will receive friends from 11 am until service time at 12 noon on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Parkway, Chesterfield, VA 23832 In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, npcf.
