Sharlene’s Obituary Obituary Sharlene Butler-Lambert, 80 Sharlene S. Butler-Lambert, 80, of Blackfoot, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Bingham Memorial Extended Care. Sharlene was born on June 25, 1938 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Sidney Lawrence and Eva Priest Shoell. Other than a short time in Utah, Sharlene was a lifetime resident of the Blackfoot area, where she attended schools.

She married Lamar Butler, who preceded her in death. She later had many happy years with her companion Jay Lambert until his death. She worked for American Potato for many years until she retired.

Sharlene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed camping, fishing and being in the mountains with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Sharlene is survived by her children, David (Denise) Butler of Glens Ferry, Idaho and Karen (Mike) Barber of Blackfoot; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lamar Butler; her companion Jay Lambert; her sons, Steven Butler and Joel Butler; she was the last surviving of 7 siblings, James, Roy, Dezzie, Darley, Bertha, June and Luella. The family is under the care of the Hawker Funeral Home.
