Obituary for Sharon Kay Scott (Miller) Sharon Kay Scott, 57 of Toledo passed away April 9, 2018 in her residence surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer. Born on June 5, 1960 in Toledo, OH, Sharon was the daughter of Richard and Patricia Miller. Sharon was a graduate from the University of Toledo with an Associate’s degree in accounting.

Sharon worked for Amtrak in customer relations for 17 years and previously worked for 10 years with the Better Business Bureau. Sharon enjoyed playing euchre with her ladies and had many friends at Amtrak she also enjoyed. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Miller.

Surviving are her husband of 17 years, Ray Scott, father, Richard Miller, son, Nick (Tiffany) Colangelo, daughter, Patty (Herman) Sanzenbacher, step-sons, Tyson Scott, Ray (Heather) Scott, step-daughter, Amy (Bob) Cooper, sisters, Terri (Steve) Cote, Julie (LeRoy) Lovier, Janelle (Craig) Pickens, Cathy (Gary) Albyn, brothers, Richard (Phyllis) Miller, Steven (Marie) Miller, also surviving are 12 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. on Thursday April 12, 2018 2-8 p.m. with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at the Funeral Home Friday, April 13, 2018 at 9:15 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place on Saturday April 14, 2018 in Newark Memorial Gardens, Newark, OH.
