Shelley Marie Reep Mellon, 49, of Cherryville, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at her home. Born in Lincoln County on March 27, 1969, she was the daughter of Steve Wayne Reep of Lincolnton and Evelyn Faye Whitesides Helms and husband Jim of Lincolnton. She was previously employed at the Paw Paw Patch and Kiddie Kollege.

Shelley was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and was active worker for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. A Celebration of life service will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday at Mt.

Vernon Baptist Church with the Revs. Jeremy Mahaffey and Marcus Redding officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society Carolina Chapter, 1901 Brunswick Ave.
