Evelyn McCombs, 73 formerly of Casar passed away, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Cleveland House. Born January 8, 1945 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Joe Robert McCombs and Jettie Lou Moses McCombs. She was a homemaker and a member of Casar Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Epley. Survivors include a son, Max C. A memorial service will be 3:00 PM, Monday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, PO Box 639, Fallston, NC 28042 to help with funeral expenses.
